Our restaurant opened in 1986 and since then we have been making the best Indian Pizza in San Francisco. We offer a comfortable, intimate atmosphere for a pleasurable dining experience. We can also accommodate your group, small to large. If you would like to make arrangements for a Private Party or catering for your event, just give us a call and we'll work with you to help make your event a success.

 

 

 

Stop by for one of our Lunch Specials, Dinner or a Fat Slice of Pizza and enjoy some of the finest Beers from around the world. We offer a nice selection of wines, too.
We deliver our food fresh and piping hot. We use only the best ingredients and roll our own fresh Pizza dough daily.

We are Open for Delivery and Take-out Orders During the Following Hours:

Please note that there is a minimum of $40.00 for delivery orders. There is no minimum for take-out orders .

Lunch: 11:00am to 3pm
Candlelight Dinner: 5pm to 11pm

 

Our speedy delivery along with Heat Insulated Delivery Bags keep your pizza and entrees like they were when they came from the kitchen. If you need condiments, napkins or plates, simply use the comments box on the delivery form when you submit your order.

This delicacy was born right here in San Francisco when an old neighborhood pizzeria was purchased by Indians, who started selling Indian food in the place while still offering pizzas. Continued suggestions by the clientele to combine the two resulted in the creation of Indian pizza -- a classic crisp, thin crust layered with spinach as well as sauce, mozzarella, and the toppings of your choice, such as tandoori chicken, lamb, cauliflower, eggplant, and prawns. Sold by the slice and the whole pie, the offerings usually include a vegetarian version spiced with hot pepper, green onions, cilantro, and garlic, a delicious and invigorating combination. One of the cheapest and best snacks ever.

   "The Indian food at Zante is so good that the restaurant would fit perfectly among London's famous curry houses. But there's one thingabout Zante that makes it uniquely American; Its' Pizza is delicious.

   Zante is a unique restaurant where you can order Sag Paneer & a Pepperoni Pie; Veggies Samosas and a greasy slice, dripping with cheese. And if that's not enough to persuade you to drive all the way to Mission and Cortland, no problem- Zante Delivers.

   Zante's seed was planted in 1986 when Zante Owner Dalvinder Multani moved to New York City from India and got a job working for a pizza restaurant in Queens. Multani honed his pizza-making skills for four years and then moved out west and opened Zante Pizza and Indian Cuisine- where he has been spinning pizzas and stirring fragrant pots of Indian Food ever since. According to Multani, the Indian Pizza- which contains tandoori chicken, spinach, lamb, fresh garlic, ginger and his chicken tikka masala- is especially good."  We agree.
